I've been watching this one for a while now. It's a simplified Bronze-Age 4x that can apparently be knocked out in one session. The game looks good, and I'll admit there's something about the premise I find surprisingly appealing.

Impressions appear to be positive overall. Sounds like the game remains on track to release later this year. :D

Releasing next week!

Civ clone?

Civ clone?
The game bills itself as a light, simplified Bronze-Age 4x meant to be played in one sitting.
Also, I just noticed there's a demo available. (Dang it...!)

;D

Seriously, why must these demos (for games I'm genuinely interested in) all drop at once?!? It's a conspiracy, I tell ya...

The title sounds more like something you would catch rather than play. Possibly a disgusting skin disease.
Maybe due to buying too many games.

Cool

It's out

Yep, saw that. :)
Response has been positive so far. Am sorely tempted, but I feel obligated to at least try the demo first, and I haven't gotten around to doing that yet. :-[

And then there is MoM.................................... ::)

No random maps is a BIG minus. :(

And I almost weakened and got the demo.

Yes. Yes there is.
No random maps is a BIG minus. :(
Yikes! That's a bummer.
Almost everything about this one looks good -- it appears to have decent atmosphere/immersion, and with a nice, tight gameplay loop that works for the shorter sessions the developer was aiming for. I was pretty much planning to pull the trigger until you mentioned that. Nice catch, bbmike.
If the dev ever adds a random map generator, I'll grab Ozymandias for sure. But no way am I purchasing the game without it.
