Well it'll be over a decade since TaleWorlds first announced (https://youtu.be/XLB9PlqkONo) it, but Bannerlord is finally releasing October 25:

I expect the game to be somewhat rough, despite having been in Early Access the past two years, but I admit I'm still looking forward to it. I'm *also* still going to wait for a sale, however -- I have at least that much willpower. 8)

Does this mean I can finally start playing?

It was in great shape last time I played and thats a few updates back.
There is also supposed to be a very cool multiplayer mod around where you can play the campaign with others. Havent tried it myself yet.

Wait, what?
Are you saying that after at least a decade of being in development, Bannerlord still doesn't have campaign MP as a feature?!? Holy hell...
I mean, it's personally not a deal-breaker, but it certainly is disappointing. And it will further entrench my decision to no get this one until it's available at a notable discount (which I'm sure won't be anytime soon).

Multiplayer is available in the game, but it's only for battles by default, not the campaign.

The multiplayer battles in war and were a lot of fun.
As for as the campaign, I am not sure I would want to play it multiplayer.
