It doesn't have to be on Saturday night.

It doesn't have to be at night.

But I'd like to try a BIG game over the long holiday.

My thought is to get a max-player C&C:N Austerliz, Eggmuhl, or Aspern-Essling up.  Frankly, I could do any of the epics, but I've got those done already.  That's EIGHT players at max.

OR

We could play a 6-8 game of "Altar of Freedom" either at Gettysburg or Antietam

OR

We could insist Vance defend his honor at Barkman's Corner.

OR

Some combination thereof.

Think about it, won't you?

Unless something unplanned happens, I'm not working the entire two weeks from the evening of the 20th through the end of the first week of January. I'm hoping to get some extended F2F gaming done here, but would be around and available for something online as well.

I actually don't really like games.

I'll be off from the 21st and on, looks like 25th is the only day I'll be busy. With a tad of advance notice I could make sure to be free to play just about any other day.

C&C napoleonics is always a fun go-to. 
I'm unfamiliar with the Altar of Freedom rules, but if they're available online I'd gladly read up so as to up to speed for a big game. Will take a look around after work today.

And now, thanks to very good friends and stalwart comrades, I am in possession of TTS...oh yes indeed. I've been poking around 'under the hood', as you colonials would say, to get myself familiar with its operation. I also download the workshop 'Sails of Glory' mod and the rules, so I can have something to tinker with :-)

C&C: EPIC Austerlitz

I built the "La Grande Battles" version, but I'm not convinced it's playable in MP.  The map is 15' wide and it now involves well north of 3,000 figures.
