Hi, All
I ran into Brant on Facebook and he told me about this site. Really like what I see and plan on hanging out quite a bit!
We're planning on launching a Kickstarter in March for our tabletop miniatures wargame, Ages of Conflict. This is a multi-genre system, so one rules set to handle ancients, fantasy, black powder, WWII, and sci-fi. We're actively looking for playtesters and reviewers, or just anyone willing to give the rules a read and hand off some thoughts and suggestions.
We had planned a nice convention circuit in 2020, though we know how 2020 played out and 2021 isn't much better. Fortunately there are a couple conventions coming up we'll be attending. (RapierCon in Jacksonville, Florida and CoastalCon in Beaufort, South Carolina).
I've begun dumping quite a few "how to" and gameplay videos on our Youtube channel. I'm fairly awful with video stuff, though I'm slowly getting better. The newer ones are here:
We have a Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/AgesofConflict.
And as I said I'll be sticking around here as it seems more challenging than it should be to find a nice active wargame site.

Good morning - pull up a chair and have a cup of tea :nerd:

Happy to be here! Might be leaning on some of you soon for some questions as I try to straighten out black powder era field artillery. :)

We have all kinds of folks that can help answer those questions. Panzerde is one key resource as he has spent a lot of time researching his era as the developer on Hollandspiele's Horse & Musket series of games
Cyrano is another, as Napoleonics are big for him

Welcome best of luck with your project.

May be the understatement of the year right here ;D

I haven't, though Charlotte is an easy drive (5 hours) and something we could do.

shoot me a note when you're ready to talk about it. I am friends with the guy that runs it and I'm happy to help make an introduction.

Will do. Thanks. I'm sure my wife wouldn't mind a weekend in Charlotte spending money while I'm at the convention. :)
