Anyone have any experience or thoughts on the Ironsworn system?

I saw they recently launched a kickstarter for their SciFi version called Starforged  It looks interesting, especially the solo mechanic but I have no real frame of reference to make an informed decision on their games.

I was going to look it up and see what the hubbub was about, and... well...

Still my original question remains, now that you are double owner and have had a least 2 hours to read it.  :2funny:

Apocalypse engine with some slight mods.  I like the variable success criteria, but I wonder if this doesn't involve a lot more die rolls than needed for the usual Apocalypse engine resolution mechanics.

Will have to play around with it a little more to know for sure.

The "moves" style of play in Apocalypse engine games throws some people for a loop, but it's not a bad way to keep actions categorized.  The nomenclature can get a little silly sometimes though.
