In the present day, has hobby wargaming yet seen *the* definitive Falkland Islands conflict game at any level of focus? It seems there have been attempts over the years, but I just don’t recall reading, listening, or watching any reviews that unequivocally name any one game as a ‘must-have’ on this conflict. Totally possible I just missed some coverage over the years.

The "best" (a very subjective word in this case) I've run into is Tom van Sant's variant of the Fleet Series known as Iron Lady's Fleet: War On A Knife's Edge. Quick overview I posted on my personal blog: https://wargamingwithpeter.blogspot.com/2021/05/so-this-exists-my-next-obsession-iron.html
And this focuses pretty much solely on the naval and air aspects. For ground ops, I've heard reasonable things of - https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/192858/mrs-thatchers-war-falklands-1982

Recently, I've been running the Harpoon 5 scenario mentioned in the article, Operation Sutton. It's very playable and the entire South Atlantic War Version 3.0 sourcebook is a must-own for any Falklands gaming enthusiast. (buy it on Wargame Vault)

I'd love to meet up with RockyMountainNavy and run Game #2. I've yet to see it fully in play. I've had that Curry book since it was released. It is a very reasonable little sourcebook unto itself.

Another one to keep an eye out for, is this Atlantic Chase mod also by Tom Van Sant, https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2611531219
