The Americans however... well they get a bit screwed by the rules right at the start. To simulate the rough way the Americans landed in history, each unit is first subjected to a dispersal roll. 1D6 - 1= all good, 2-4 = step loss before rolling for landing effects, 6 = step loss and delayed appearance until turn 4. This last one represents the unit being so scattered that it takes them a day to find each other and then they can appear on the map near their LZ or any unit from their division already on the map.
