I did see somewhere that the Steam Christmas sale is due to start today.

I'm sure we'll all be pleased about that :-)

Just logged in to Steam and no announcement...maybe later today?

Only thing that made my jaw drop is some anime porn game that showed up in the Featured carousel. I'm like, WTF Steam?  >:(

I got a porn anime game on my featured results as well. Certainly not due to any past purchases, lol. Weird, Steam, weird.

Somewhere, somehow, I woke up in the wrong timeline. I'm pretty sure this isn't even my dimension.

Its worrying when you see stuff like that pop up (no pun intended). I think Steam should be more careful about the rubbish they put up for sale. There are a lot of youngsters who likely use the site.

Insufficient control and the lust for profit.

Looks like the page is having some trouble. It finally displayed for me, but said "Up to 0% off!" and no games listed, so yeah, broken (at least, in the Featured Franchises section, where there's also no games listed under any of the franchises, LOL).

I've Googled how to report a game on Steam, but none of the results are accurate. Not that I care - people want to play anime pr0n games, be my guest - I just don't want to see that shite in my store page. Especially if someone is looking over my shoulder and sees that and wonders what I'm on about, eh?  ;D

So Steam - you're telling me that WRC7 was selling for £34.99 before the sale...even though WRC8 is out? That is some miss-selling right there. There's no way WRC7 was selling for £34.99 - WRC8 was selling for £34.99 before the sale!

Indeed it has. I'm not looking for anything in particular, although I may pick up 'Factorio' if it turns up at a reasonable price, having been playing the demo a little.

I'm not seeing anything impressive in this sale...nothing that they don't usually do for sales, anyway, so this Winter Sale event is decidedly 'meh.'

Especially as some of their Franchise sales are still glitching out and not displaying games/showing 0% discount  :ROFL:

I think Im definitely going to pick up Civ VI for $15.

I was thinking of another Total War game and I'm not sure between Warhammer II or Three Kingdoms???

Then there is always Crusader Kings III but I was hoping for more of a discount given how much of a cheapskate I am.  :)

There is a lifetime of gaming in wh2 but remember afaik you need wh1 to play the mortal empire maps
