Wondered if there was a good place to add interesting historical videos that everyone might enjoy, so I thought I'd start a thread. If there's a better place to deploy these, please do. :)

I just watched this one, which is a fantastic overview of the full happenings of World War 1 in just over an hour.

Then there's this playlist by a guy calling himself TIK on YouTube. I've probably shared these before, but he does an absolutely brilliant, in-depth coverage of the entire Stalingrad campaign. He uses great information and gives tons of sources (my book library has been enlarged thanks to these), well researched, good maps, and animations to help bring the entire thing to life.

The first few videos:

If you have any interest in the Stalingrad campaign, I cannot recommend this series highly enough. He's at 49 total videos so far, and counting.

For those who enjoy World War II Pacific operations, I highly recomend this podcast.   They have very good subjects and comments from guest authors.

This one on the night action of Empress Augusta bay is good for 1944 production.

"We've got the torpedo damage temporarily shored up, the fires out and soon will have the ship back on an even keel. But I would suggest, sir, that if you have to take any more torpedoes, you take 'em on the starboard side."   Pops Healy, DCA USS Lexington.
