Post by: bayonetbrant on December 01, 2018, 08:36:19 PM
We've got a series coming on wargaming at CGSC, including the new concentration in the MMAS degree on game/simulation design

First up, an interview with a pair of last year's graduates

Thanks again for the intro article covering my current work. I've got a play test session tomorrow and then in about a week, I'll be playing Warhammer 40k on the US Army Esports team at the Las Vegas Open. I should have another follow up article on my lessons learned from the play test as well as the results from my efforts at LVO. If you've got any questions, please let me know!

I think you're going to have some folks interested in what your game design for the MMAS program ends up looking like, and whether or not they can talk you into bringing it to Origins this summer :D

Note that while I posted them (with permission), Landpower GAAT was designed by LTC Patrick Schoof.

I hate that this wasn't a thing when I went through CGSC.

LOL!

I would love to go back and spend a year in the classroom, reading, discussing all manner of military subjects, not responding to emergencies and needy commanders at all hours, and enjoying Pleasantville--all while paid to do so!
