Some years ago, I picked this book up in a $1 bin a used book store
https://www.amazon.com/Kitcheners-Sword-arm-Archie-Hunter/dp/1873376545/
Not only are the battles rather well-described, but also well-diagrammed.
However, I'd read it at a time when I was more focused on RPGs than wargaming, and never went looking for any games on the battles. There's plenty of stuff out there on the Boer War, but not so much on Hunter's campaign in Sudan, and not a lot about the battles in India (though those would be tougher to game at a lower level).
Any idea what games might be out there for a good look into Hunter's Sudan campaign?
Any good Boer War games that specifically focus on his actions in South Africa?

I can only think of one that's published by Legion Games;

Which is £58 in the Uk and that's without shipping.

One of the best books on the subject (Sudan campaign) I've found is War on the Nile (https://www.amazon.com/War-Nile-Britain-Egypt-1882-98/dp/0713713100/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1536683567&sr=8-1&keywords=war+on+the+nile).

My one game on the Boojer War. It's fine, but it definitely shows its roots as a print-and-play.
Guy was quite the fellah. Marched to rescue Gordon, avenged him at Omdurman, &c.
Cool book.

I was actually looking for something more obscure than the Boer War. I was looking for something about the actions in Sudan

I own "Remember Gordon" -- it contained the die that Gamescience was willing to guarantee -- but it is an unfortunately bad game...
I wrote about it here: https://kriegsspieler.blogspot.com/2016/10/remember-gordon-campaign-game.html
I agree re: minis.
