Just yesterday watched a 'Russian T V Show' about their co-operative "War Games" with several others focusing on 'Land/Sea OPS'. They happened to show a FFG Vessel almost akin with the USN 'Littoral' series, albeit in 'Soviet Naval' colorings, what with their distinctive 'Brick Red Decks' being most prominent. Their Ships also seemed as having additional 'Armaments' beyond what them USN vessels had, namely 'Turreted Waterline Aligned Anti-Ship Guns'-(30mm to 40mm?) I didn't recall espying anything for an 'Aegis' defense system for either types, either, and wonder what will replace this?

There's been some discussions here and there on the site about the LCS series being mothballed.

I think Bes had some input / thoughts on it somewhere, including the plans for their replacements.

The FFG(X) will replace LCS.

A ship the size of LCS would not have Aegis.  Might have CIWS, might have RAM.
