Interesting to see that Heroforge is now in beta test for creating 3d digital downloads of your custom designed minis that are compatible with Tabletop Simulator.  Although the price is a bit steep ($7.99 USD),  and very few historical costumes are available, the possibilities for bespoke custom armies may be something to follow.
