That was pretty awesome.
Thirty-nine hours spread over 13 sessions -- remember, we began the weekend before Leipzig in October.
Great credit to the whole crew for sticking through it and, of course, huge congrats to the Allies for their win.
Hard to knock the French for holding on to Day Three -- as apparently Ross has never seen done.
And, of course, the Opolchenie will remain the game's MVDLs -- Most Valuable Drunken Lunatics.

Seeing as it was my first game ever of Blucher it seems I'll have to temper my expectations for other games :)

I floundered for a bit but I think I did alright considering Napoleonics aren't exactly in my wheel house. Either way it was a ton of fun and a great learning experience.

You did very well. Honestly, I think you had a perfect intro to Blucher. You had Ron on your side and guiding you and you were on defense. While defense isn't always easy to play, I think in this case you weren't overwhelmed at the beginning with things to do and had time to learn what was going on.
