Minis gaming tomorrow. Playing an Arracourt '44 game using Spearhead for rules. This is a replay of a game I was in a few weeks ago that was poorly put together. The GM is trying to get the balance right before running it Huzzah! in May. It really can't be worse than the previous game  :D

Otherwise, going to try to get in some Red Dead 2 on PS4.
You driving the same panther column?  :D

I think I'm going to be American this time. I assume that means he will have adjusted the game so it complete favors the Germans :P

I have Corsair Leader on my table right now but can't get to it quite yet. I've re-designed some of their Target Cards and ordered some miniature 'hit' markers to use for a  review/AAR.

ASL for me tomorrow. We’re playing a scenario we modified for three players. US vs Germans I think.

I’ve spent half my life’s earning on wargames, women, and drink. The rest I wasted.

We played a modified SK scenario, with 3 players.  Good fun!

Holland 44 is great. The newly released reprint of Ardennes 44 is also great. And Ukraine 43 is fun because not Barbarossa but the beginning of the Russian offensive. Normandy 44 is great and is only a single map for the space conscious gamer.

Stalingrad 43 is on p500 and should be out this fall. France 40 is on P500 but who knows when that one will be reprinted.

Basically Simonvitch’s ‘’XX Series are my favorite operational level games. And they all, I believe, have vassal modules.

The ‘XX games are one of the few series, I collect and play. Waiting for Stalingrad and the eventual France reprinting. I have read the rule book for Ardennes pushed some counters around but have not yet played out a full game. They are printing mounted maps for the series too but I haven’t gotten any yet. They are on the list to,consider though.

Interestingly, there are rules downloads and Vassal mods available for all the games in the series published so far.

I was just looking again at 'Holland '44' and also find the mounted maps are tempting, however.........this may be a miss-print, but according to the game info, the maps in the game are 1 x 22" x 34" and 1 x 17" x 34", but the mounted maps are 22 x 34 and 8.5 x 22.

The paper maps are printed to have one sheet overlap another so one of the mounted maps should be smaller. I am not sure there is an 8 inch overlap but nonetheless there is one.

I P500'd Stalingrad '42. My first ever P500.

Then I went and did the same with Mr. President.

These two, along with U-Boot, I'm really looking forward to.
