This looks very much a case of someone buying the KS as an 'investment' - not to play, but just to wait a while and then sell at a big profit. Its not by any means uncommon.

I’ve seen it for about $185 USD. Same thing, someone who’s bought it, or multiple copies, with the intent of selling after market for a profit... and they’ll get it too....

Oh yes, I have no doubt that it will sell, mainly because of the extra stuff that was only in the KS.

Well - what about this?

I have two issues with this
  1. Monopoly isn't worth £20 let alone £5000 - it always causes arguments because some one wants a house rule that suits their position  :tickedoff:
  2. This is only really going to appeal to people in Leeds - and WTF in Leeds has £5000 to spend on a board game  :)
  3. WTF wants a game set in Leeds - and I'm including people who live in Leeds  ;D

I used to go to meeting at our Leeds depot as it was regional centre. It was just across from Elland Road football stadium. I always got lost as it has a bloody awful one way system, but I usually finally got back on to the M1 North by following signs to the Royal Armouries (a fantastic place, btw). I used to hate Leeds!

As always, there's a tent in the garden just waiting for you.........................

And anyway, how long has it been since you lived there?

And anyway, how long has it been since you lived there?

We never lose the fondness for where we lived/were born.

I apologise UCG. Maybe just leave my post as the first comment

Yeah, you're right, JD. We still feel the same about Birmingham, although we moved to Newcastle in 1976. There again, the city as it is now is not the same as the one we fondly remember from our younger days.
