Oolala...Panzer Corps Gold  is less than $10! Now that seems like some good gaming fun.

I'm still dithering over several items. Knowing me, the sale will have finished before I make up my mind.

I just pulled the trigger on my Summer Sale purchasing the complete packages for Battletech and Grimdawn. I opted for a turn-based strategy game and a thoughtless hack and slash. I want some DLC but I need to decipher the gems from the crap for Total War and maybe Stellaris.

This is the most consistent way I save money on games.  :D

Speaking of dithering...we need to do some more Left 4 Dead 2 runs. Frying pan zombie slaughter for the win!

Its been a long time since we did that! I'd be up for it, and if I recall correctly, TCT was on the team :-)

I believe you are correct and I believe Gus joined in once or twice to lend his screams of terror to ambiance. L4D2 is always a good time laying wasted to hordes of undead.

I finally, 'Manned-Up' and pulled the trigger on War In The East. Nerd-gasm to ensue.  :nerd:

I would definitely play L4D2 again. I'll wear a diaper.

That new Aliens game looks like the beez neez as well!

We all bought it together way back when. LB was excellent at it. So was Oche. Me...meh. But it was damned fun.

Not as fun as whichever CoD we all played (I think we had over a dozen playing simultaneously for a while) but still fun.

LB was a one man whirlwind with a katana - I had trouble keeping up with him. If we can get it together, it would be fun to do again :-)

I think I played with Gus and Bison a couple of times.  If you're looking for some good, cheap, chaotic co-op games besides L4D, I recommend:

1)  Strange Brigade.  1930s style pulp action where to take stiff upper lip Brits soldiers, mad scientist types, occulitsts, and a Brummie lesbian mechanic and fight mummies.

2) Vermintide 2.  Melee combat focused hack n slash set in the Warhammer fantasy universe.  Good fun.  I am bummed that they increased the height of the Dwarf so he can now see over the top of the wheat on the farm level.  I thought it was hilarious that he couldn't see anything at all and gad to be guided through it when it was first released.

3) World War Z.  Zombie shooter similar to L4D but much more gun focused.  The mass zombie waves in that game are very cool.
