 Enjoy Stellaris and decide to give the other Paradox games a go again. Install HOI3 and VICKY 2. Both games will not load past opening cut scene and freeze. PC locks up and needs to be manually powered off. Restart PC. Restart Steam. Uninstall games. Walk outside and yell at the clouds passing by.

Yelling at clouds is more therapeutic than given credit for. Yelling at Paradox even more so. 

Somewhere, somehow, I woke up in the wrong timeline. I'm pretty sure this isn't even my dimension.

I am not sure what caused it. I read some "fixes" for similar issues but I don't want to expend the energy to try and get them playable. I just want to sit. Click a mouse button. Ignore popup text. And curse the underlying mechanics making the game do things I do not understand why its doing it. You know. Play a Paradox game. :)
