Pretty sure Banzai Cat has a copy of it. Not sure if he's played it yet.
-
I think SDR has a copy as well and has played it.
I passed on it.... but still interested....

Nope, not me.

Smartasses. :)
I do indeed have it and it IS out of shrink; I just haven't gotten it to my table yet.
It's pretty awesome, component-wise.

Get on it. Airboy needs a review.
-
He's waiting for the zombies expansion.

Ask a simple question, get it thrown back in your face for eons.

I'm not a fan of the Legendary coop games. I find them bland and boring.
-
Huh, I played the Alien Legendary Encounters game and it was great fun in a group. We lost, but barely.
I did buy the Firefly Legendary Encounters game but surprisingly have yet to play it (probably won't for a while as it's in storage).
Some of them are confusing, in that there are so many precursors and relationships between the cards that it can get confusing.

Surprising to who exactly?

Hello pot, meet kettle! :P

I played Marvel Legendary and found the gameplay and cooperative aspect to be very underwhelming.

Would you guys say Sentinels of the Multiverse is more enjoyable?
I have SotM on Steam and it was a bitch to beat there.

I might as well open a game store. You and me both could sink the continent, I think.

Perhaps you should send it to Airboy. It feels unloved sitting there unplayed

It's better to be a smartass than a dumbsh*t.

Move to Guam; capsize the island

Banzicat - If you have Big Trouble in Little China I would love to play it. It is starting to look like I'd have to cough up $120 delivered to get a copy - if I can find one even at that price.
:o
Yeah, that's nuts. I bought mine for about $90 or just a little south of that, through Amazon. I'm surprised the game is so expensive but likely that's because it's out of print and now third-party sellers are cranking the prices up.
I might get my copy out this weekend and try to play it, if you're looking for impressions. I'm keeping a hold of this baby, though.

Jesus, $250...
The only game I'd consider paying hundreds of dollars for (if I even HAD it in the first place) would be a mint copy of Queen's Gambit. That's my Holy Grail and I doubt I'll ever find a copy that doesn't cost $5-600. :(
-
Is that the 1742-1748 game or the Star Wars game?

Sorry Bob, shoulda specified...the Star Wars game.
The only good thing to come out of the three prequel movies. ;D
Minimum price right now is $290 US, on BGG. :(
-
:o
-
Yep. :o is right.
If it was just me and I had a bonus check in hand...I could see treating myself to that. Shut up, mirth.
But even then, damn. Three hundred bucks for a board game. Even a good one. That might merit a new thread around here...what's the most peeps around here have paid for a board game.
-
Yeah, I could contribute to that thread. (http://www.aarcentral.com/emoti/HideEyes.gif)

Big Trouble was ordered days ago but has not shipped which seem ominous.
Where did you order it from?

China. duh.
-
Huh. I never had any issues with orders from ThinkGeek. Hang in there.
-
Just got the email that it had been shipped. I also got the 2nd expansion for Fortune & Glory today. I've got quite a few cooperative, table-top games now.
I can't help but think that's my fault. :2funny:
Which Fortune and Glory expansion did you get?
-
I played Marvel Legendary and found the gameplay and cooperative aspect to be very underwhelming.
Yeah, I didn't think much of it, either. The Legendary Encounters games (Alien, Predator, Firefly) are much, much, MUCH better.
I've got Big Trouble in Little China! It is a fun game, though the rules are a bit of a mess in terms of trying to find info during a game. I also picked up the Legacy of Lo Pan expansion, which allows up to 6 players to play it and adds a whole different campaign that you can play (though I haven't had a chance to try it yet). It's a fun game, but setup takes forever and it is an absolute table devouring pig.
