Anyone ever played this one? I just found out it's available on Steam now.

Those graphics....
-
^My thoughts exactly. I played stuff on the C-64 that was graphically far superior to that :-)
-
Couldn't agree more! Those graphics are prehistoric. What were they thinking???
-
looks like something that the fanboy over at the matrix forums would've spit out in an afternoon
-
Sadly, its not the only one - you see 'new' stuff like that showing up on Steam on an almost daily basis. That and damn Japanese cartoony stuff. yuk!
-
You know it's a game from 1989?
-
Oh yes, and it probably best if it had been left there.
-
;D

I guess it mostly depends on whether you played the game back then or not.
I still play my oldest games from time to time, like Fields of Glory. Don't think I'll go through a new old game though.
-
I play Field of Glory occasionally as well, although I don't think of it as being an 'old' game for some reason.

1993's Fields of Glory?

FoG II - had it a while but certainly not that long. We are obviously talking about two different games :)

I think. The one I was talking about is the one from my avatar. I also have the ones you mention.

I remember wanting to play Sword of Aragon so badly when it was released but not having a PC to do so. I guess now's my chance. Slightly telling that it has absolutely no reviews on Steam, even at 6.99 :/
-
being fair, as with all games, its very subjective. If a game plays well, and you enjoy playing it, then how it looks is of secondary importance.
-
Very true. I still play Imperialism on occasion. 8)
