It still suffers from what I see as the shortcomings of most tac games, and I'll not go into all that as you guys have heard it all from me before; but, I will admit that it has a lot of flavour and is fun to play. I had to clarify a couple of rules and maybe the rulebook could have been laid out better, but I've seen worse.

I like it enough to hope to get a couple of the other games in the series if and when they are back on the shelves again. It does seem as if Airborne and Ghost Front get snapped up very quickly.

You can tell as I think I've missed some of these discussions and this one is on my radar.   :nerd:

He believes that tactical games should include meeples instead of counters. We've tried to change his mind on many occasions.

Yeah yeah yeah. I'm not playing it to review for AD since you already did that, smartarse. I'm playing it for the Solosaurus podcast - it's for our next episode.

Its something that actually carries over from 'The Other Place' where I used to rant about it. Just a soap-box subject for me.

This!

Look out for an 'Unboxing' and, at some point, a review.

Excellent, 'geek - you have much gaming to catch up on. Did you add much to your Bolt Action collection?
