As Giorgio is awesome, i have now built two English Civil War sets.

One is the Battle of Edgehill for a, now, very old set of ECW rules.  It, undoubtedly, will creak, but I wouldn't mind playing it.  Four players maximum.

The other is an introductory scenario for "The Pikeman's Lament" from the very popular (hereabouts anyway) "Lion Rampant" series by Osprey.  This, too, is four maximum.

What would the group rather?

I don't understand; are you asking which English Civil War? I count a lot more choices than two.
