Back in the day, me and my four buddies tried to play that (the original SPI version). We must have used just about every flat surface we could find in the house, not just for the maps, but for all the charts and tables that comes with it. We didn't get very far with it, TBH.

Even by the standards of the day, the original SPI ones were not exactly inspiring.

It does look like you'd get around that in hours for a turn or two...so cost per hour might be favourable  :hehe:

I seem to remember that we more or less concluded that it was an interesting game, but, for all practicable purposes was an unplayable monster.
