Title: Fire and Ice
Post by: bob48 on September 14, 2018, 04:38:57 PM
https://www.compassgames.com/military-simulations/korea-fire-and-ice.html

This is interesting because it uses the 'Road to the Rhine' system which, IMHO, was one of the best games that GDW ever did.

My 'go-to' game for the Korean War was the one published by Victory Games, but this one does look like a contender.

Its a '3 mapper' so no chance for me to get it - nowhere to set it up and leave it although no doubt there will be smaller scenario's to tinker with. Plus the fact that the UK price is £75 excluding shipping :-(

You really need to get past the idea of 'being able to play' a game as a condition of purchase.

+1. I bought Absolute Victory: World Conflict 1939-1945 and it also has three maps and I don't think even one will fit on my gaming table.  :D
