Does anyone else think DVG may be scrimping on content for their Warfighter games in order to grab money through additional packages?

I know I spent £130+ on 7 upgrade packs for PMC. I wasn't sure, really, what I thought about them either. In some there were one or two specific items (like maybe a couple of additional weapons, or player soldiers).

I only ask because I saw Wayne Hanson's review of Warfighter Vietnam. Whilst he says it's excellent - and the best in the series so far - he also mentioned a lack of soldier cards. There are only 6 soldier cards and only 3 of them are US soldiers.

In my cae, sure - Warfighter PMC coming in at £63.23 may well have been enough content. I don't know. I suppose by making packs, they keep the cost of the game low whilst allowing others, who want more, to buy more. They did seem pricey though. £19 for 56 cards (33p per card).

Part of me just feels like there's a money grab going on. 6 player soldier cards is really, really tight.

I do recall the same argument going on with PC games over a decade ago.

For whatever reason, I just totally dislike anything done by DVG. Irrational as that may be. :idiot2:

Oh I like some of their games - Phantom Leader is an excellent game and my favourite of the Leader series.

But I do feel like they may be leaving out content on the Warfighter series specifically so they can push these additional packs out.

You are not wrong. Been that way since the start of the series.  :(
