Turns out Mr. Big Shot Tank Guy is just a very poor shopper.  From a YouTube comment:


The Priest is a good unit. There 2 ways to make it work great. One is add a American crew member Carlos Hayden which ignores Impassable terrain and then attach Observers to other Tanks allowing the Priest to draw LoS from them.
