Now, perhaps its a good idea to start with a simple skirmish scenario to get used to the way the game works, before we start our narrative in earnest.
Aiming for a target, using cover and conserving ammunition are important parts of gameplay. I’ve got no hands on experience yet, but I have listened to a very interesting podcast where they explained combat in T2000 is fairly realistic and not about DnD style wack a mole combat, but about preparation, tactics and sensible use of weaponry.
Having this in mind I feel we should test run a few combat encounters to get a feel of how the game works.
It might also be a good idea to make custom chars for this , which might or might not be used in our campaign. Getting a feel for options here will be beneficial for later too, I reckon.
