Damn, sounds like I might be prequalified for Saturday Night Fights.

I picked up a few different things, and am likely to buy more.  :)

If anyone likes twin stick shooters, check out Tesla vs. Lovecraft.  It's less than $6.50. You're Nikola Tesla, adding new weapons upgrades (and mechs, eventually) as you fight through swarms of Lovecraftian monstrosities. Lots of nice little bonuses and add-ons as you play, too.

My daughter and her boyfriend got me a Steam gift card for Father's Day, which I didn't expect. But since I've played hardly any games (let alone computer ones), I let it sit in my Steam account until the sale, then picked up Call of Duty (have the CD, but it won't install on my rig), Darkest Dungeon, West of Loathing, and South Park: The Fractured But Whole. I've spent a few minutes with each and have to say while they're all good, West of Loathing is surprisingly awesome.

Pit People is shockingly good. Same expected off the wall humor from the makers of Castle Crashers and Battleblock Theater, only this time it's a little travel the map with your party and fight things tactical game. And the list of possible things is encounter is quite massive. Also, if you have a net and cage, you can 'recruit'  any of those things to your party, if they're the last one left standing from their group.  As your membership grows, you can assemble groups out of the potentially hundreds of 'recruits'  you'll have available.  My current group consists of a cyclops, a Spanish princess,  a cupcake man (as in a sentient cupcake), a mushroom man and the main character warrior guy.

It's really weird, really funny and really good,
