Title: Gilded Destiny -- a possible alternative to Victoria 3?

I sure hope so.  It's early days yet -- the game isn't due out until next year -- but I (mostly) like what I'm seeing so far.

Yeah, this one definitely came out of nowhere (as ucg said).  I've been itching for a Victorian/Industrial-era grand-strategy game for a while now; fingers crossed this is the one I've been waiting for.  :dreamer:

Not gonna lie, this has me drooling a little.  The potential -- especially for modding purposes -- is immense.
