Tanks getting caught within those trees can get nasty. But enough tanks coming over bridges at once can probably get the upper hand.

You may be right, Cyrano. Once our tanks started mixing it up though the fur started flying. The poor infantry didn't have much of a chance, but they can only be overwhelmed with mass numbers. Infantry can get very lucky at point blank range, which is what the German right would have offered, as there were not many paths through those trees wider than one hex.
