Title: August 12, 2020 -- "Blucher" Battle #1

First of three battles resulting from our Scharnhorst mini-campaigns.

This one featuring Zeke vs. OJ.

Presuming OJ can make it?

Yes, I'm good.

Been hectic here since the wife got home Saturday night and I kept forgetting to double check with her that tomorrow night is good.

Excellent! I'm good as well, excited for this one.  What time do you guys start at on Wednesday's? Have it in my head that it was 6 Central but wasn't sure.

Hey guys.  I'm running late.  Can we start no earlier than 7:30 eastern, 6:30 central.

Thanks for the game guys, always enjoy playing with you both. Looking forward to continuing ours and seeing how everyone else's battles play out as well. I think being spoiled by the scale of Wagram and Austerlitz I didn't realize how 'small' a 4 by 6 table actually is haha. Never felt one way or the other about the Russians in this time period, but the army has really grown on me.

Interesting you say that.

6' X 4' is the notional Blucher standard, but you're correct that it feels very, very tiny.  You made excellent and creative use of that Reserve Move, though, which made me feel a bit better about it.

Still, a 3'' X 3'' footprint for each brigade is going to leave matters a bit busy.

Well, that, and the fact that the two of you left 1/3 of the battlefield pretty much bereft of troops.

I'm getting rolled, but still having a good time.  I knew trying a Velker maneuver was most likely not going to turn out very well for me.

Just double checking, is the plan still to play tonight as well? If so, what start time?
