Also the Saracen was affectionately named "The Pig" because it was a pig to drive.
Including this beast which to my eternal regret did not get to drive

I always wondered what the point of the hovercraft was - for passenger travel. From what I recall, it wasn't that much faster cross channel (seems it could get up to 70 knots!) and it cost a fair whack. More comfortable?

Australia's remaining 186 Boxers will be constructed at Rheinmetall's Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) in Queensland.
Speaking as someone who works at a Competency Center, never trust anything made at a Center of (Competency|Excellence).
