The T-38 air frames must have a gazillion hours on them. It seems like they have been flying those forever!  Almost 50 years is a long time.... I speak from personal experience! ;-)

Yes, or the Gloucester Gladiator. The final bi-plane fighter designs were quite interesting if doomed to almost immediate obsolescence.

The Gladiator saw some good service, especially over Malta. I think the Finns used 'em as well - equipped with ski's
