No balancing so far. I think the majority of kills the SSD will suffer will be self-inflicted from flying off the map edge.

And I thought the Tantive IV was a beast to manage on the table. Different system, but still.

I think we all know how to take down a SSD

That always bugged me. A ship that size and they don't have auxiliary controls in another part of the ship somewhere? It was cool as hell to see it crash but old man nerd rage.

That was the least of my criticisms of RotJ. At least Lucas is honest about how he made those movies for 10 year olds.

Hey!  I'll have you know I was 6 when it came out.

You probably struggled with the nuances then.

I'm experiencing buyer's remorse.  This thing costs twice as much as the base set and its length is half with width of the playing area.

That is bad. ass. I would get a table especially to put it on display, and have the Imperial March on constant loop.  I would take it to the office and walk around carrying it, making engine rumble noises, staring at people and saying "I find your lack of faith disturbing..."

I actually don't really like games.

I plan to light the bridge on fire and then crash it into the belly of the fattest guy at work.  I hear you get free lunch if you get sent to HR.

That thing should technically be able to pummel any Rebel ship in a matter of seconds. There must be some kind of balancing rules associated with it. Otherwise I'm guessing the Rebel player will need to swarm it and pray for a miracle!

Next set of expansions announced.  Looks like they've added a massive Rebel ship to counter the Super Star Destroyer.  I think these ships are from the Rebels cartoon?  Not a fan of the art style for either.

I'm glad I got out of all that. I'm trying to sell my Feldherr MAXI case full of Star Wars X-Wing minis and no takers yet on Facebook.

FFG really shot themselves in the foot with the cash grab that was X-Wing 2.0.  The community shrivelled up to a mere shadow of itself overnight.  I've been trying to unload my collection as well but no takers in almost 2 years.

For the New Republic's super-capital ship, I'd have preferred to see the Viscount-class "Star Defender" from the now-defunct ( >:( ) expanded universe.  Sigh.

Not bad, I'd never heard of either the Star Defender nor of this other Imperial monstrosity.

Hoping to break out An Infamous Traffic, a lighthearted romp about different noble families trying to sell the most  opium in China while cutting one another off at the knees. It's a Cole Wehrle game, and I've rapidly become a very big fan of his. Speaking of his games, I also want to get Pax Pamir played again. Loving that game.
