Thanks, mirth. I realized that almost as soon as I asked it.

BB's smartass reply notwithstanding. :P

I went to the Con in Cromwell, CT. Both years they've run it, they have done 50% off everything in stock. The warehouse is nearby so they keep bringing in games as needed.

The Con is a great event and the sale is a big incentive for me to keep going back. I plan for dropping between $150-$200 while I'm there.

It was in freaking Cromwell??  :(

Damnit. I used to live there a long time ago and it's still only about 3/4 hour away from me now. Do they hold it there every year?

It's been there both years they've held it. Afaik, they plan on being there again next year. The hotel isn't great, but the venue space works out well for them.

I'll have to try and plan ahead. Do they start it on Friday?

I'll put in for the time off soon.

I can catch a few hours there during the day on Friday. Is it bad form if I just hover near some of games in session rather than actually sign up to sit in on any? I find it hard enough to learn a game quietly on my own, never mind in front of a bunch of other people where my ADD can really shine.  ;D

It's pretty casual and people are usually open to answering questions or indulging bystanders.

I actually don't really like games.

No need to be so cavalier about it.
