Please be at least marginally impressed with the watermark bug in the lower left corner :)

8 minutes to unbox it, 8 months to learn the rules.  :2funny:

Plenty of bits in the box, and, I have to say, I'm quite impressed with the AD watermark in the corner.

I've had the game for some time now and only played it twice. There are a LOT of rules... though it's not really a difficult game, just lots of moving parts.
That said I found the game kind of dull. The Trek theme feels pasted on, having nothing to do with Star Trek at all really other than the shiny bits.  :sigh:

PS The watermark is a nice touch.  :bigthumb:

PPS. Pictorial unboxings are just fine you video snob.  >:(

I bought it in lieu of Mage Knight because MK was SO bloody expensive, and everyone I've read reviews for or talked to about this game say it's exactly like MK but with Star Trek bits. I find your comments interesting, Barth, though I still want to get this to the table. I just don't have a lot of logistical room to do so at the moment. I also have Star Trek Ascendancy, which has a LOT of bits to it too...especially when you add all the expansions (I have four of them I think, including the Cardassians, Ferengi, and Borg).

There's a really cool 'Return of Khan' expansion for Frontiers, but I need to stop buying expansions for games I haven't played yet. :(

I'm considering buying a small fold-up table for the room I'm staying in so I might have something to spread a game out upon, but I'm not sure I can find anything big enough for everything I'd like to play.
