Thanks for posting that. I joined the army in 1983 and I remember watching this - it took me right back to plastic chairs and cold rooms at Azimghur Barracks in Colerne, Wiltshire.

That was very interesting. I think events as they played out went a wee bit more smoothly than might really happen and that's what I'd expect from a training film like this.

What was equally interesting were the other video recommendations. Did anyone else get DDR Lehrflim suggestions? This one is short and mainly just 10 minutes of demonstrating military training during a dignitaries visit. Where as the DDR film from 1984 isn't as educational as the UK training film, the music, which starts around the 3 minute mark is much better.  :)
