It may be an tick or some such, but I really want to see if the Allies have a chance with this one.
Two tries say no.
Care to see if there's another outcome in there?
This is the big OVERLORD battle.
1900 CDT?

Sounds like a challange worth taking up.
-
BRING UP THE PIAT!
-
Sounds interesting, but I might not be around. Not sure and don't want to commit if I'm not.

BRING UP THE PIAT!
...make sure you fit a new rubber band in it first.............. ;D

YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
I will seek you :).

That bridge maybe just be a little to far.
-
Tuna, of course, should play.
-
I can't stay up late on a school night!
-
Is there still room?
-
If you've still got room, I'll give it a go.

Chrono pulled out a close win last night. 13-11 i think was the final score.
Proving that he's a better general than Monty. :groovy:

It is SERIOUSLY crazy how popular last night's game is proving on-line.
Especially for a Wednesday.
I know we had the topic elsewhere about C&C:N, but Memoir '44 remains an accessible game covering everyone's favorite conflict. Of course its abstractions and simplifications are not to everyone's liking, but it may be a sui generis gateway wargame.
And thanks to Chrono for proving Vance and the other Allied players in the past were just weak.

You did not just... :censored:
Big words from the Guy who only reads the rules while others actually play the games.

Definitely something a weak person would say.
This derision is, of course, directed at you for eschewing our company.
B_C was dog wrestling, it would seem, and Tuna has become infirm.

Wait. Did you just call him Brant Senior?

While we were waiting for you to get back on line, we talked about C&C games being a beer & pretzels type game. All agreed that a) it's nice to sometimes sit down and play a quick easy game. b) C&C games may have a pretty simple rule set, but they offer a lot of challenges. c) sometimes in the middle of a busy workweek, it's nice to have a quick fun game.

The company of my wife always trumps the company of my fellow gamers. ;)

See, I'm tellin' ya: break it into two pieces so we can thumbs-up it twice.
