Title: 1914 Nach Paris
Post by: the_giant_squid on January 03, 2023, 05:09:32 PM
Has anyone here given this a shot? I've played through the two playthroughs included in the scenario book, and started a solo of scenario 3. So far so good. Definitely not a simple game but also not as fiddly as I first thought it might be.

This, I assume, is the game from VUCA? It looks very good, but is a bit too big for my available playing space. I have played a couple of their games and have been impressed by the high production values - plus the games are good.  :bigthumb:

I'm more inclined to suggest with ""Clash of Empires"" (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/5929/clash-empires-battle-france-1914)<--'click this'(https://cf.geekdo-images.com/136yHPCQZk3vjFxhmv0s1w__imagepage/img/vvQQSkTmeC0p63Fsod4ejABSSfU=/fit-in/900x600/filters:no_upscale():strip_icc()/pic55190.jpg)

^How is that relevant to the game in question?

It is a big game but they have included numerous mini maps (which speaks to production quality) that allow for playing scenarios on an A4 sized space.

The production quality is very high indeed.
I'll check out Clash of Empires. I like WW1 games.
