The Argentines weren't firing them from helos and iron bombs turned out to be plenty deadly too. It's a testament to the RN to have taken the punishment it did and keep going. They weren't well equipped for defending against low level attacks close to land. The doctrine and equipment was tailored for shooting down Soviet bombers.

Crap, what was the 1980's TV show with the guys who had one of those helos, doing detective stuff?

A friend always asks "I wonder what useful piece of knowledge I don't have because I know that bit of trivia?" I always think, "Hah. Jokes on you: I don't have either useful knowledge or entertaining trivia."

I struggle with a real love/hate relationship with DCS. I just get to enjoying it and...................................................

.............................I have to log in AGAIN. (That among other issues.)

I'll leave it at that.

Difficult sim. Troublesome DRM. Sounds like a premium wargame.

Really? I haven't been asked to log in in a very long time!

I still have a love hate relationship with it. Too many modules. Not enough time. Re-learning every time I jump in.....but I can't help but buy new modules!
