x-post from What's On Your Table

The boys and I visited Brant and Gamer's Armory a few weeks back. I picked up Hold the Line: American Civil War. I actually got it stickered in one evening. We broke out the game the next day and they commanded the forces at Bull Run. The photos are from the first couple of turns of our game a few weeks ago but the game will be back on the table soon. The Union forces did not upset history with their performance on this day.

Setting up the battle

Battle status at the end of turn 2 IIRC.

Really solid block game and great for young or new wargamers.

I played some 'Hold the Line, Frederick's war' on Vassal. This the Sean Chick game that developed into the Horse and Musket series.
