I just don’t understand the sky is falling worry sometimes.

They made a game out of that, too

Bison, this sniping has been a problem from the beginning..
Avalon Hill was often castigated for it's non wargames.  Some were weird, like Squander and Shakespeare, and others, like The Travels of St. Paul,  were aimed at a different niche audience.  Hard core gamers screamed at the waste of time and effort put into these "other" games.
All told, they paid the bills.  Tom Shaw was the office manager and answered questions politely but clearly that AH couldn't survive on war games alone.

"We've got the torpedo damage temporarily shored up, the fires out and soon will have the ship back on an even keel. But I would suggest, sir, that if you have to take any more torpedoes, you take 'em on the starboard side."   Pops Healy, DCA USS Lexington.

^I received an email stating that my C&C Napoleonics 5th Printing and dice (yes, dice, I bought two sets) had charged. Looks like I will finally own a copy of C&C Nappy.  8)
