Since the shut-in seems to be here for a while (at least in the Peoples' Non-Democratic Republic of Virginia) it seems that we need an updated wargaming vocabulary. Seen some of these around the interwebs but not a comprehensive listing. Here is a start:

GMT Games - CDC
Mark Herman - Dr. Fauci
RULEBOOK - CDC Guidelines
SEQUENCE OF PLAY - Executive Order
STACKING LIMIT - Social Distancing
MELEE RANGE - 6ft distance

What other ones can you think of?

I’ve spent half my life’s earning on wargames, women, and drink. The rest I wasted.

so y'all know that GMT Games had their "quarantine layoff support" giveaway this summer, and I was very graciously sent copies of SpaceCorp and The Gathering Storm.

Now that I'm employed again, I really want to show some support for the guys at GMT and place a real order with them, but I"m a little stuck for what to get (too many good options!)

Y'all generally know my preferences, but I"m not afraid to color a little outside those lines for this purchase.  I just don't want anything ACW. (absolutely no interest).

I'm also not wanting to do anything on p500 - I want to get something in stock so GMT's getting my support right now rather than some undetermined time in the future.

I'm trying to stay in the $45-80 range.

Sell me on something, guys!

I must have missed the post that said you are employed again. Congrats!  :bigthumb:
