Okay, boys. Drugs are bad, mmkay?

Unless they're good. In which case carry on.

Tonight may be a challenge for me. Something I ate is not agreeing with me. No guarantees I won't be in bed or otherwise occupied...

I actually don't really like games.

I'm suspicious of the Orange Chicken from the Thai place.

Those two light infantry battalions on the Austrian left held up a French corps for several turns.  I think that made a big difference.  The French committed their last corps of infantry reinforcements toward Eggmuhl thus not having time to move any to Roking before the end of the day.  If those two light infantry battalions had folded sooner, that last French infantry corps could have gone straight to Roking instead of Eggmuhl.

"Blucher" is just a winner...but y'all knew I felt that way.  Best "big battle" system I've found, although I do still want to try "Snappy Nappy" and "Le Petite Empereur" to be fair.

So far it has dusted:

1.  "Black Powder 2", although, honestly, BP2 isn't really a "big battle" system.  This is the same issue with "March Attack" and "Shako 2".
2.  "Volley and Bayonet" -- There would be no "Blucher" without "VnB", but I just can't handle the silly skirmishers.
3. "DBN" -- Too chess-like, too much fiddle, not enough grand scope and sweep.  It always seems to be accommodating the needs of the ADHD Napoleonic gamer who doesn't want to build just one army or who doesn't have enough space for a big table.  I now have TTS, so it's no longer a concern.

Thanks to Mike, Doug, Griff, Ron, and Jason who played in one or more of the sessions.  There will be more!

I didn't see that until it was far too late to claim credit for it, but I think you're right.  Ross' scenario for Eggmuhl is really, really good and gives both sides some great almost -- note I say almost -- operational choices.

I cannot take credit for it either.  I think the rule set helped on this.  If I could have moved and fired, I would have been pulling them back.  But being able to only do one or the other per turn, I left them there.  Also, if I remember correctly, they were pretty evenly matched with the Wurttembergers at the begging.  so there wasn't a need to pull back.  Only after the first French reserve's entered, is when I was divided on pulling them back or slugging it out.
