Started here on Netflix yesterday, but we haven't watched it as yet.

I’m with you UCG.  :silly:

Looking at maybe getting some DLC for Humankind. A couple of other small games maybe as well. I have most of the large titles I want already.

Trying to decide if I should re-watch the previous season of the Witcher or try and find a good recap of them before watching #3

Also, if I don't look at the Steam sale than its not happening right....  8)

There's a recap at the beginning of ep 1 but it's woefully insufficient

I watched the first 2 of Season 3 and found them average at best, though was not a big fan of the other Seasons either. Confusing even after the Recap. Still, I'll finish the rest just to have something to watch. Maybe they'll become epic.  :fingerscrossed:

We watched episode 1 (season 3) last night and thought it was pretty good. Not sure if I could them all again though.

Yes. The dwarves are a hoot, although why they have Scottish accents is a bit of a mystery.

Na - but Hollywood still thinks it's the best way to represent Scots

What do they know? They have to have a big sign on the side of a hill to tell them where they are.   :idiot2:

Two quick thoughts on The Witcher:

1) Not having read the books, the first season was confusing until it wasn't

and

2) Just like any series that's on streaming that doesn't release all their episodes at the same time, I will wait until all of the current seasons episodes are out and then I will rewatch the previous seasons followed by the new season.

Anyone else do this?

I didn't read the books either.

No we just tend to watch one episode every week, but my son will wait until he has a day off from work then binge-watch the whole season :-)

I think hand on heart i only watch because I think I should like it

No books, no game for me just the series and it’s confusing as hell and just isn’t compulsive viewing like I hope it  will be

I watched the first season, liked it, then did not like the second season much and didn't finish it.

I've read a few of the books and enjoyed them.

Loved every Witcher game, though.

This sums me up pretty good.

I'll probably wash the last 2-3 episodes of Season 2 before I start season 3. I don't have the time to rewatch all the previous episodes but I do like to be reminded of where things left off.

Didn't read the books, never played the games but I'll watch the whole season because I love a challenge. Which Witcher is which is hard to keep up witch... I mean with.

Regiments bought on steam sale - £16

I was always going to - might as well while it’s cheap

3rd Cold War purchase in 2 months 🤔

Picked Battles of Normandy from the WDS sale and then Radio General from the Steam sale as it was less than $2 and I've been intrigued for awhile.

Loved the demo - other games got in way but definitely revisiting it at this price

Also tempted by Uboat at 9.99

I've played Regiments...it's an excellent game. Not too dissimilar to the other types out there - but I find it a) more engaging and b) probably because it's a better pace.

I know its the reason its on my wish list. I'm just being a cheapskate and trying to decide if I want to spring for it during this sale.  8)
