Couple games I'm not too familiar with, wondering if you could shed a little more light on. What more can you tell me about #ManeuverWarfare and Shakespeare's First Folio?

#Maneuver Warfare is a deck builder card game designed by a retired USMC Major (also the GM)

Not collectible, but customizable with a lot of cards in the box

Does have shared terrain the players fight over, plus logistics, C2, and cyber dimensions


Don't know much about First Folio, but it's a new one from Fort Circle where you're racing to be the first person to publish Shakespeare's plays

Origins 2024 Countdown! Origins War College Previews

The Origins War College hosts a wide variety of panels, seminars, and discussions around military history, military affairs, and current events.  Once upon a time, our CPX’s were a part of the War College program, before the Wargame HQ was started.

This year, we wanted to leverage 2 things that have been neglected for years:

1/  The wargame designers attending Origins are all intelligent folks with fascinating insights about modeling conflicts, so we wanted to pull together a few panels with them to allow the audience a chance to ask their own questions about game design, inspirations, ideas, etc.
2/  It’s been years since we had the companies at Origins give an update about their companies with the ability for the audience to interact with them.  We’re giving them all a platform to showcase whatever they want about the company – recent releases, upcoming plans, soliciting playtesters, etc – and for the audience to ask some questions of them as well.

Origins 2024 Countdown!  All The Other Wargaming Events

There are a ton of wargaming events at Origins that are not sponsored by the Armchair Dragoons, especially miniatures games.  There are a variety of board wargames, NSDMG/LARPs, home-brewed games, and fanciful alt-histories.  This listing obviously does not include pickup games, wargames scheduled between friends to link up in the board room, or folks that just grabbed a random table to play (or playtest) something.  Nevertheless, there’s a LOT of wargaming here.

Brant said it be okay to post this here, so I'm looking to make room on the shelves (seriously, things have been confined to the floor because they are overflowing). As such, I'm planning to list a bunch of things on a BGG auction soon. Before I do, however, I wanted to give folks here who will be attending Origins this year a chance to pick some things up.
