Pretty cool. I still have a couple of my dice from my first red box.  The Color crayon fill is still holding up all these years later.

My first polyhedral dice are around here somewhere. Red dice that came with a yellow crayon. Got it in 1980 or so. And the d20 has been rolled so many times the edges are worn and it's basically like rolling a tennis ball.

Lou Zocchi of Gamescience put out really high quality dice.  His black d20s were really popular.
Guess that would have been something like 1982?
Later The Armoury in Baltimore put out lots of colored dice, but their material was softer and did not remain crisp for long.
