The first GW tabletop purchase I've made since getting the original
Warhammer Quest back in the '90s.
Hope I've not gone mad 'cuz GW shit ain't cheap.
The 40k themed WHQuest style dungeon crawl was enough to bypass my wariness, though. Despite having vowed to never buy another huge boardgame requiring assembly of a large number of minis again. After the troublesome trials of doing so with the two
Shadows Of Brimstone core sets a few years ago, and their occasionally mismatched parts which needed to be carefully shaved down in order to be fit & glued together, I had practically sworn off such future propositions.
And then they went and made this damn thing. "Join Usssss", they says. "It will only hurt for awhile" they says. But damn, does it look good, and primed for solo/co-op indulgence.
Looks like I'll be knocking the rust off my paint brushes.
