I am in Columbia, SC. We don't meet regularly (there are really only about 4-5 of us interested in wargaming, plus a few others interested more generally in boardgaming).

We play semi-regularly on Wednesday night's on VASSAL; we started with the COIN games during COVID and have moved on from there.

We do try to meet every few months at Firefly Games for a general boardgaming day and post those dates on a Facebook group.

South Carolina Old School Wargamers (not really an active group, but as long as it exists I have hope that we can bring a few new folks into our fold):

@ToadKillerDog - do you guys have any sort of Google calendar we can subscribe to?  Or are you OK with us creating a recurring event on our calendar for those meetups?

These guys are not too far away, and they have been responsible for organising a show every year (other than lock-down) for quite some time. I've not been to the meetings yet but intend to do so at some point.

At the risk of sounding overly-anal-retentively-detailed (stop laughing, the rest of you!) we're talking about Melbourne, Australia, right?

I am 100% down w/ non-US places   I even said so!

I just wanted to make sure he wasn't referring to a Melbourne in Canada, and not some off-the-map place like Sri Lanka, or Guyana, or the UK

yeah, and if I'd take 3 seconds to peek at AndrewD's profile, I'd've seen his location as "Melbourne, Australia"

This should work - STLHGS Event Calendar <gcseahe9sa0ohr5sq4gjgksevk@group.calendar.google.com>

Otherwise, you can browse the STLHGS BGG entry and "Add to Google Calendar"

I have to be reminded sometimes there are other Melbournes! Yes it is Melbourne, Australia, so I edited my post.
