Have had a work iPad for years but finally broke down and bought my own.  Non pro, regular screen.  Downloaded Twilight Struggle.  Any other must haves?  More strategic than tactical.

There's an area movement Bulge game that's at the operational level. The name is totally escaping me at the moment, but I remember everyone raving about it when it was released.

It's mostly forgotten now but you could give Combat Mission: Touch a try. It's a dumped-down version of the original CM2 engine, though still fun for a little while.

It's called "Battle of the Bulge".... ;D  :idiot2:
They also did a Drive on Moscow area op game that's fun too.

There's a bunch of good wargames for the iPad. Check out Carrier Battles 4 Guadalcanal... great version of Carrier for iPad. Also a few SlitherMatrix games have made it to iPad.

Carrier seems to be ok!  Only spent a couple hours on it but so far so good!

That Bulge game is extremely difficult, compared to the Moscow game. At least in my experience with it.

There's another game that I've had a LOT of fun with - but it's not a wargame. I've re-installed it and played through it at least four times so far. It's called 'The Devil's Attorney.' The in-game dialogue is outstanding and if you've ever wanted to play a sleazy defense attorney, well, now's your chance. :)

If we're just gonna post random games then you must get Plague Inc. fantastic game... if a little bleak....

Same company just put out another game called Rebel Inc. … looks to be just as good.
